Looking for a housekeeper who lives in Government Camp or Brightwood, Welches/Wemme, Zig Zag, Rhododendron to take care of one vacation rental(The Bunny Haus): 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms 1800 sqft house, on three levels, sleeps 12 people, 3rd house off the main street (doesn't require driving up or down any steep road), completely renovated in 2025, has one washer and two driers
The cleaning has to be done the day of check out.
It takes about 6 h to do a cleaning for 12 guests if the cleaning is done by one person. Two people can get the job done in 3 hours as there in one washer and two driers. The job would be for an independent contractor (on a non-employee basis) individual. The cleaning time reserved for housekeeper is 10 am - 4 pm and we respect the housekeeper's schedule. We provide all the cleaning supplies, tools necessary and training The ideal candidate must be easy to work with, with great work ethic. Must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Located in Government Camp or Brightwood, Welches/Wemme, Zig Zag, Rhododendron ONLY. Right now we are looking only for local people who can drive to the house in around 15 minutes. Have own reliable transportation. Must be comfortable going up and down the stairs. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required, we can do the training Be able to pass a background check. Have a smartphone for texts (no phone calls) and personal email address. Have ability to check the email on a daily basis and answer emails/texts within 24h. Have ability to work with Google calendar. Responsibilities: Wash, dry all white cotton same type bed linens/ towels that are the fastest drying we could find on the market, make beds. Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens/dinings, living areas, upper deck, front pavement. Vacuum/mop floors. Clean windows as needed (no ladder necessary). Use house blower to remove pine needles from decks, concrete pathway Inform when supplies are low. Take photos/videos of major damaged items, repair any minor issues within ability (ie changing light bulbs, changing batteries, screw in loose screwes etc) Check for power or damage after storms if needed for extra fee. Mail left behind items for extra fee. Assist with deliveries for extra fee. Assist with buying new house furnishings if they break down and are essential for guest's comfort, for extra fee.
